Private journal surprise
Rereading my private journals, I came upon this:
But I know that the Lord understands that I need to work out on my own the details of my dilemma, so that my faith is not rendered futile and trivial, but becomes a testament of truthfulness and maturity.
Did I write that?

I think I've been avoiding things, hoping that they'll deal with themselves without me lifting a finger. But lists don't check off by themselves; tasks don't complete themselves; projects don't do themselves. I have to exert some kind of effort to take the first step. Indeed, "one step at a time." Thanks, Ms. Sparks.
